Rehabilitation of Ruisseau-Leblanc Harbour, Gaspé Peninsula
As part of its harbour divestiture program, this project consists of the upgrading of the Ruisseau-Leblanc Harbour structures to meet the needs of the purchaser. More specifically, the project consists of the partial demolition of the existing structure and its consolidation with riprap. In addition, the configuration of the harbour will be modified by relocating the east entrance to the south to reduce silting problems. The work includes riprap for the timber and concrete wharf, dredging of a channel, installation of a line of pontoons behind the breakwater, construction of a pedestrian walkway on the main breakwater and extension of the east breakwater.
