Reg. 278/19 (CALCULATION OF FEES FOR PUPILS FOR THE 2019-2020 SCHOOL BOARD FISCAL YEAR) 1. (1) Subparagraphs 5 i and ii of subsection 3 (3) of Ontario Regulation 278/19 are revoked and the following substituted: i. Multiply by $763.79 the number of elementary school pupils of the board on October 31, 2019. ii. Divide $225,997.91 by the day school A.D.E. of pupils of the board. (2) Subparagraph 18 i of subsection 3 (3) of the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted: i. Multiply the benchmark operating cost of $90.36 per metre squared by the adjusted elementary school area requirement for the board determined under paragraph 3 of subsection 53 (1) of the grant regulation. (3) Subparagraphs 5 i to iv of subsection 3 (4) of the Regulation are revoked and the following substituted: i. Multiply $875.49 by the day school A.D.E. of secondary school pupils of the board. ii. Divide $225,997.91 by the day school A.D.E. of pupils of the board. iii. Multiply the amount determined under subparagraph ii by the day school A.D.E. of secondary school pupils of the board. iv. Add $85,726.10 to the amount determined under subparagraph iii. (4) Subparagraph 18 i of subsection 3 (4) of the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted: i. Multiply the benchmark operating cost of $90.36 per metre squared by the adjusted secondary school area requirement for the board determined under paragraph 14 of subsection 53 (1) of the grant regulation.
