Modern Labour Standards - Wave 6
Regulatory initiatives under the Canada Labour Code
Discussion paper
The Labour Program is looking for employers and employees to provide input on the proposed regulations. The discussion paper includes a summary of the proposed regulations, as well as questions related to each regulatory initiative. In particular, the Labour Program hopes to gather stakeholders' views on:
- the appropriateness of the proposed regulations
- whether the regulations will be difficult for stakeholders to follow
- if any additional regulations should be proposed
- any additional impacts on stakeholders that might be caused by the regulations
The input gathered through this process will be used to refine the proposed regulations, ensuring that final regulations take stakeholders' views and concerns into consideration.
