STATUTORY RULES AND ORDERS NO. 30 OF 2021.

REGULATIONS

MADE by the Minister under section 30 of the Environmental Health Services Act, Chap. 42:01.

(Gazetted September 8th, 2021.)

1. These Regulations may be cited as the –

ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH SERVICES (COVID-19) (AMENDMENT) (NO. 2)

REGULATIONS, 2021.

2. In these Regulations, the Environmental Health Services (COVID-19) Regulations, 2021, is referred to as “the Principal Regulations”.

3. Regulation 9 of the Principal Regulations is amended in subregulation (2) by –

(a) deleting the words “take away” in paragraph (a) and substituting the words “dining, pick up”;

(b) deleting the word “be” in paragraph (b);

(c) deleting paragraph (d) and substituting the following –

“(d) all bars shall open for purchase and pickup only and there shall be no –

2021 ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH S.R.O. 30 SERVICES (COVID-19)

(i) music played at any bar;

(ii) congregation on the premises of any bar; and

(iii) consumption of alcohol on the premises of any bar;”;

(d) inserting the following new paragraph (f) immediately after paragraph (e) –

“(f) all nightclubs shall remain closed.”.
