An Act to amend the Animals (Diseases and Importation) Act.

ENACTED by the Parliament of Barbados as follows:

Short title

This Act may be cited as the Animals (Diseases and Importation) (Amendment) Act, 2014. 1.

Amendment of section 22 of Cap. 253

The Animals (Diseases and Importation) Act, Cap. 253 is amended by deleting section 22 and substituting the following:

“Amendment of Schedule and Regulations subject to negative resolution

The Minister may make regulations and may on the advice of the Senior Veterinary Officer amend any Schedule to those Regulations.

Regulations made under this Act are subject to negative resolution.”.
