The Honourable Siobhan Coady, Deputy Premier and Minister of Finance, will launch an awareness campaign focused on choosing healthy beverages today, (Thursday, August 11) at 11:30 a.m. The event is being held at the Newfoundland and Labrador Sports Centre, 90 Crosbie Road in St. John’s (enter the building on the left, behind the Powerplex main gymnasium, to ‘Benvon’s Room’).

Minister Coady will be joined by the Honourable Tom Osborne, Minister of Health and Community Services, the Honourable John G. Abbott, Minister of Children, Seniors and Social Development, the Honourable Sarah Stoodley, Minister of Digital Government and Service NL and MHA for Mount Scio, community partners including Kids Eat Smart Foundation and the School Lunch Association, and Mike Wahl, host of “The Wellness and Healthy Living Show.”
