Decision of the Broadcasting Arbitrator

  1. On 25 August 2022, the Broadcasting Arbitrator released a decision, with reasons, and an order with respect to the 2022 Allocation of Paid Time. This decision, made pursuant to subsections 337(3) and 343(2) of the Canada Elections Act (the Act), replaces the 2021 Allocation of Paid Time.
  2. The Commission is required, pursuant to subsection 342(1) of the Act, to notify broadcasters and network operators of such allocations.
