1. That this House requests the Governor in Council to:

a) revoke by regulation under section 30 of the Nature Conservation Act 1992 the setting apart and declaration of part of one State forest;

b) dedicate by regulation under section 29 of the Nature Conservation Act 1992 the revoked area of the aforementioned State forest as an addition to an existing national park;

c) revoke by regulation under section 32 of the Nature Conservation Act 1992 the dedication of part of two national parks,

as set out in the Proposal tabled by me in the House today, viz—

Description of areas to be revoked

Oakview State Forest An area of about 92.13 hectares described as part of lot 220 on

FTY1774 (to be described as lots 216 and 217 on AP23760), to be dedicated as additions to Oakview National Park, as illustrated on the attached sketch.

Mount Etna Caves An area of 0.1187 hectares described as part of lot 117 on NPW821 National Park (to be described as lots 5 to 7 on SP325486), as illustrated on the

attached sketch.

Tuchekoi National Park An area of 1.223 hectares described as part of lot 1 on AP19201 (to be

described as lot 3 on SP325683), as illustrated on the attached sketch.

FTY1774 (to be described as lots 216 and 217 on AP23760), to be dedicated as additions to Oakview National Park, as illustrated on the attached sketch.

944 MR M CRANDON ASKED MINISTER FOR TRANSPORT AND MAIN ROADS (HON M BAILEY)— With reference to publicly available information regarding Exit 45 on the Department of Transport and Main Roads website which states ‘Timing – Construction complete mid-2022, weather permitting’, and the latest Queensland Transport and Roads Investment Program 2022-23 to 2025- 26, page 23, which advises that, of the $20m indicative total budget, $4m of funding will be expended in 2023 to 2024 and $5m of funding will be expended in the period 2024 to 2026, a total of $9m (45 percent) of funding— Will the Minister advise how it is that this project can be completed in 2022, if $4m of the funding will not be available until 2023 to 2024 and $5m of the funding will not be available until 2024 to 2026?
