Excluded Employees Indemnity
Protection Regulation
Definition
1 In this regulation, "excluded employee" means
(a) a person employed or appointed under the Public Service Act who is excluded from collective bargaining, and
(b) a former excluded employee within the meaning of paragraph (a).
Indemnity protection
2 It is a term and condition of employment for excluded employees that the government provide indemnity protection, in accordance with the Excluded Employees (Legal Proceedings) Indemnity Regulation, in respect of conduct that occurs in the performance of employment within the meaning of that regulation.
