MTO is strongly committed to promoting the highest standards of safety for all Ontarians who travel on our roads, including drivers, cyclists, and pedestrians. Trends and technology are evolving, with an increased popularity in active transportation vehicles such as e-bikes.
As a result, MTO is soliciting feedback to inform the development of an updated regulatory framework for redefining e-bikes and their associated requirements.
