Petition to the House of Commons
  Whereas:
  
    Bangladeshi student protesters are being killed for demanding fair quota reforms;
    Peaceful assembly is a cornerstone of democracy; and
    Recent reports indicate ongoing violence and suppression of protests in Bangladesh, which the global community must address.
  
  
    We, the undersigned, citizens and residents of Canada, call upon the House of Commons to:
    1. Condemn the killing of student protesters in Bangladesh;
    2. Defend the right to peaceful assembly in Bangladesh; and
    3. Urge Bangladesh to protect its citizens and uphold democratic rights.
