The Provincial Government today announced that applications for Tourism and Hospitality Support Program are being accepted until January 29, 2021.
The Tourism and Hospitality Support Program is a non-repayable contribution program for eligible tourism and hospitality operators to help provide financial relief due to the impacts of COVID-19. To date, over 1,096 applications have been approved.
The program allows eligible tourism operators to apply for a one-time, non-repayable contribution of either $5,000 or $10,000, dependent on gross sales. In the event of applicants with less than $10,000 in annual sales in 2019, the contribution rate is calculated at 50 per cent of total sales, or 50 per cent of expenditures for new start-ups.
Details about the program and how to apply can be viewed online.
